Details:NAMI Smarts for Advocacy: Telling Your Story
Participants will learn how to improve their advocacy skills and practice telling a strong, personal story that can influence lawmakers and decision-makers.
Dinner will be provided and will accommodate those with dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free. American Sign Language (ASL), spoken English interpreters, and Communication Access Real Time Translation (CART) will be provided. There will be several locations you can choose from to participate.
The workshop at Independence First will be held on Thursday, October 24 2024 from 4:30 PM-7:30 PM at our Milwaukee office: 540 South 1st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204
